Programme management offers a high-level management approach. The service is managed by one of our consultants and ensures that the project is delivering at the strategic level.
A programme manager will be asking questions such as, 'Is the supplier delivering against the contract' or 'What are the implications of a change against the budget, what impact does a change have for end users'.
The programme manager will ensure that he is available for all of the key meetings between our clients and the supplier/s. They offer a path of escalation for issues or risks and can present to the project board on progress etc.
While a project manager is able to run the day to day operations they will report to a programme manager who will, in turn, provide up to date feedback to the project sponsor.
